Freedom of Religion
Religious freedom is a state where we can embrace what we
believe is the absence of coercion. Freedom of religion is not
given by the government, but rather a gift of God to all mankind. Freedom of
religion is a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or
community, to adopt a religion or belief in private or public spaces. Freedom
of religion includes freedom to change his religion and not by any religion. In
countries that practice the freedom of religion, other religions are free to do
and he does not punish or persecute followers of other faiths other than the
official religion. Article 18 of the International Covenant on Civil Rights
